The B.U.F.F. Waiver Wire
Occasionally players are waived from B.U.F.F.. This is usually done if players show a lack of interest for playing in B.U.F.F. or if there are too many players on the roster. Waiving a player allows the player an opportunity to find another place to play before the basketball season is too far underway and all other leagues' rosters are set. The waiver deadline is typically by the start of the BCS tournament, however this deadline may be extended at the discretion of the Commissioner.
Players may be waived for any of the following reasons.
1. Player has not taken advantage of enough invitations.
2. Player is too often unavailable to play in B.U.F.F. but is known to be playing elsewhere.
3. Player shows a lack of dedication to B.U.F.F.
4. Player does not make an effort to associate with his peers.
5. Player is a safety hazard to others.
6. Player does not abide by the B.U.F.F. Code of Conduct.
7. B.U.F.F. does not have room on the roster due to returning players with greater seniority.
8. Habitually poor email communications, late or no replies to game invites.
Players who are waived but who also remain in good standing with the league may be invited back if an appropriate opening arises.
